About Us
Our Vision
Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seed you plant
-Robert Louis Stevenson
Here at Greenspace, we seek to cultivate more than just a place to work. We’re building a welcoming, thoughtfully designed environment where people can focus deeply, connect authentically, and feel supported in how they work best.
Located in the heart of downtown Greenfield, Greenspace was created for freelancers, remote workers, creatives, small teams, and community-minded professionals who want an alternative to working alone at home or squeezing into cafés. Our spaces are intentionally calm, comfortable, and flexible — designed to support everything from quiet solo work to collaborative meetings and team sessions.
In November 2025, Greenspace was acquired by Nismah Osman and Sarah Little, two local entrepreneurs who believe that where—and how—we work matters. Their vision for Greenspace is rooted in accessibility, kindness, and real community. They are especially committed to cultivating a space where women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people from all backgrounds feel respected, safe, and genuinely welcome.
We believe work doesn’t have to be isolating to be productive. At Greenspace, you’ll find a balance of independence and connection: room to concentrate when you need it, and opportunities to engage when you want them. Whether you’re dropping in for a day, settling into a dedicated desk, or growing with a private office, our goal is to make Greenspace feel like a place you belong.
More than a coworking space, Greenspace is rooted in community. We value inclusivity, mutual respect, and sustainability, and we’re proud to support the local ecosystem of people and ideas that make Western Massachusetts such a special place to live and work.
Welcome to work, reimagined—at your pace, on your terms.
Greenspace CoWork was co-founded by Jeremy Goldsher and Jeff Sauser.
The Space
Located In the Heart of Downtown Greenfield Massachusetts
Our coworking spaces are located in the historic Hawks & Reed building and 278 Main Street – right in the center of downtown Greenfield. Many of our members enjoy walking to work, and can find anything they need within just a few blocks: grab lunch at any of the amazing, locally-owned restaurants nearby, meet friends for a drink after work, buy groceries at the Coop or come out on a Saturday to enjoy Greenfield’s famous Farmer’s Market, running every Saturday in the summer since 1975, and located right outside our front door in Courtyard Plaza.
Not Your Typical Coworking Space
We built Greenspace to escape the cubicles, and took a lot of time and care to renovate our unique spaces. We offer lots of plants and natural light, plenty of nooks and crannies to settle into, unique custom-made tables, phone booths we designed in-house and more – see if for yourself – book a tour!
Strong Coffee and Fast Internet
Need a fast connection? Care about Net Neutrality? The future will not be throttled: we’re powered by GCET, the region’s first municipal-owned high speed internet connection. Membership also comes with 24-7 access to the facility, unlimited coffee and tea, conference room time, and color printing, as well as a membership discount for shows at Hawks & Reed (located on the first floor).
Community Building
The creative economy depends on a tight-knit community of people with a wide range of skills and interests, which is why we’re so happy to have authors, web developers, designers, non-profit leaders and more as members. Meet future collaborators, learn something new from someone who’s an expert, or just talk shop in the kitchen with other community members. We also host regular Meetups, talks and other programming – check out the Events Calendar to see what’s coming up.
